In collaboration with Baylor College of Medicine, our team developed a pair of climate-controlled goggles to standardize dry eye testing. The portable goggles will be used as a diagnostic tool in ophthalmic clinics as well as in dry eye clinical trial testing.
• Worked with an industry partner at Baylor College of Medicine to define medical problem and develop an engineering strategy to create a solution
• Defined qualitative design parameters to create a device that would solve the medical need as well as be realistic in market
• Applied concepts and theories learned in engineering courses towards a real-life application
